Vicki Taitano, Esq.

Vicki King Taitano is the chief attorney of Maryland Legal Aid’s Prince George’s County office. She supervises an office of 33 legal and support staff, and practices in the areas of public benefits and consumer law. Vicki graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii and holds a degree in political science from Boston University. Vicki’s previous experience includes serving as the director of MLA’s Foreclosure Legal Assistance Project. She also worked for the Legal Service Corporation as program counsel for legal services organizations throughout the country, and as a managing attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services Program in Washington D.C. Vicki’s work is inspired by her belief that the justice system should provide justice for everyone, not just for those with the most resources. Outside of work, Vicki enjoys pottery, gardening, softball, and ultimate frisbee.
