Sally Dworak-Fisher, Esq.

Sally Dworak-Fisher is the Chief Attorney of the Workers' Rights Unit at Maryland Legal Aid. Sally is passionate about using the law as a tool to advance equity and positive social change.  She initially represented clients in immigration proceedings at Ayuda, Inc., before spending two decades at the Public Justice Center (PJC).  At PJC, Sally developed and led the Workplace Justice Project for more than ten years before joining the National Employment Law Project as a Senior Staff Attorney.  Sally graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she received the Jane L. Mixer Award for demonstrated commitment to social justice.  She clerked for two federal district judges before her work as an immigration attorney at Ayuda.  Sally is committed to fighting for dignity, equity, and justice for all.  When she’s not advocating for workers, Sally loves spending time in nature, traveling, losing herself in a good book, and enjoying time with her friends and her loving family.
