Laurence Boylan is a Supervising Attorney at Maryland Legal Aid, specializing in the intake of potential new clients. He graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 1996 and holds a B.A. in Art History and English from the University of Rochester, earned in 1990, where he was a member of the Keidaeans Honor Society. His previous experience includes managing the Pro Se Litigants Assistance Project in the Family Law Division of the Circuit Court in Baltimore City and serving as a Senior Attorney at Friedman, Framme & Thrush, PA, specializing in Personal Injury, Landlord/Tenant, and Family Law. Laurence is also a former two-term Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the NY City Master Chorale. His work is inspired by the public interest focus of his alma mater, Northeastern, where he completed clerkships with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court, the San Francisco Civil Rights Commission, and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Outside of work, Laurence enjoys travel, music, and film.
