At the request of State Senator Cheryl C. Kagan, staff attorney Virginia Rosa provided testimony before the Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee in the Maryland Senate in support of Senate Bill 28, the “Language Access Bill.” Senate Bill 28 requires state government agencies to translate their public websites into any language(s) spoken by 3% or more of Maryland’s population according to the most recent census data.
