Well-served clients in the Midwestern Maryland office shared their appreciation for a job well done. Staff Attorneys Katherine Jones and Tom Davies worked together on a client’s foreclosure case. Tom and Katherine represented the client at mediation and helped to buy time so that the client could find a higher-paying job and put herself in a better financial position to avoid foreclosure. Tom and Katherine also assisted in providing necessary information to the mortgage loan servicer. As a result, the mortgage loan servicer voluntarily dismissed the foreclosure case.
Dear Tom & Katherine,
Thank you so much for all your time, input, and guidance during this mess I got myself into. I could not and probably would not have been able to do this on my own. I wish you both the best in 2015 and thank you for all you did to save my house from foreclosure.
With sincere gratitude,
In another case, Katherine Jones and Staff Attorney Alecia Frisby both provided legal advice to a client who was facing foreclosure.
Dear Katherine and Alecia:
I am very thankful to you for the time and advice you offered when I was confused and depressed with the home foreclosure situations and my husband’s non-cooperation.
I hope and pray that the bank will finalize the loan modification on my name and I also have the divorce form [completed] and ready to file.
Once again my sincere THANKS to all of you at Maryland Legal Aid for helping people like me.
