LEGAL AID WELCOMES TWO NEW BOARD APPOINTEES

The Maryland State Bar Assoc. Board of Governors has made two appointments to the Legal Aid Bureau Board of Directors: G. Daniel Shealer Jr. and Broughton M. Earnest.

 

Shealer is vice president for corporate compliance for the Johns Hopkins Health System Corp. He has worked for the last 15 years in East Baltimore and served on the board of the North Baltimore Center. Shealer earned his J.D. at Vanderbilt University School of Law and is a member of the Maryland and Washington, D.C. bars.

 

Earnest is a partner with DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary in the firm’s Easton office. He recently organized a regional pro bono legal services plan for the mid-shore counties on the Eastern Shore and serves as a volunteer co-director of the tri-county consortium.

 

Earnest is a graduate of  the University of Virginia School of Law and is a member of the Maryland and Washington, D.C. bars.
