BABC Children’s Holiday Party

Maryland Legal Aid Executive Director Wilhelm Joseph attended the Bar Association of Baltimore City’s Children’s Holiday Party on December 14. For the past several years, Wilhelm, a.k.a. Santa Claus, has welcomed the children to the party.


2017 Legislative Session

The 2017 legislative session convened on January 11 in Annapolis, MD. Maryland Legal Aid Executive Director, Wilhelm Joseph, was in attendance at various events throughout the day.

Fannie Angelos Scholars Visit Maryland Legal Aid

Maryland Legal Aid staff and Fannie Angelos Scholars at Maryland Legal Aid’s Baltimore
City office on January 13.

On January 13, Fannie Angelos Scholars visited Maryland Legal Aid’s Baltimore City office.
Maryland Legal Aid staff shared learning experiences, advice, and anecdotes with the
scholars.

The Fannie Angelos Program is a collaboration between the University of Baltimore School of
Law and Maryland’s four historically black colleges and universities. The Program is
designed to identify talented students, help them gain admission to law school, support
them so that they excel in law school, and assist them in finding jobs upon graduation.
Maryland Legal Aid Staff Attorney Zenia Wilson is a alumna of the Program (pictured
above, fifth from right).
