2006 Homecoming Gala
Staff, friends and alumni of Legal Aid are invited to our 95th anniversary celebration, Saturday, October 14 at the new Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture (830 E. Pratt Street), from 6 to 11 pm.
This Homecoming Gala will include a cocktail reception, dancing and dinner, a tour of the museum--and an opportunity to meet and greet fellow Legal Aid Bureau alumni and share news and reminiscences of our times spent together. Please save the date now, and plan to join us.
In addition, we will be honoring Legal Aid's True Champions of Justice (Benjamin R. Civiletti Esq., Alice Jews, George W. McManus Jr. Esq., Hon. Mary Ellen T. Rinehardt, Margaret Smith, and Hon. Dennis M. Sweeney), looking back on our distinguished history, and celebrating 95 years of providing free civil legal services to those in need.
Tickets for the event are $125. To order, call Peaches Boone: (410) 951-7624. Dress is semi-formal and parking is across the street at 815 E. Pratt St. (bring your parking ticket with you for a reduced-rate validation). Note: Tickets are not available at the door.
Thank you for your help in making this landmark event a success. We look forward to seeing you at the Legal Aid Homecoming Gala on October 14, 2006!
